The Peruvian government has recently informed us that Inca Trail Permits for departures in 2023 will go on sale on October 10th, 2022, for the whole of 2023.  Permits for the dates in the high season (April, May, and June) usually sell out within a few hours, so you should book as soon as possible to guarantee your preferred dates. KM 82 is the trailhead to hike the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu. It ends at the Sun Gate which was the original entrance to the Machu Picchu archaeological site. What happens in between on your 4 day Peru adventure tour is entirely up to you! Except for the strict regulations enforced by the Ministry of Culture, of course.
