Ica Tour Package Guide
OVERVIEW
The city of Ica is surrounded by desert, but thanks to underground water sources from glacial melt water from the Andes, it has long been an important agricultural region. The region produces cotton, asparagus, avocado, mango, olives and of course, grapes, producing some of the best pisco and wine in all of Peru. Ica receives plenty of visitors for its vineyards and sandboarding in the nearby Huacachina. It is also perfect for visiting the Paracas natural reserve, protecting marine eco systems and the archaeological remains from the Paracas civilization, dating back to 1000 B.C.
