Qeswachaka Bridge is located over the Apurimac River at about (3,700 meters/ 12,139 feet), just outside of Cusco. This handwoven grass bridge crosses 33 meters/ 108 feet and is rebuilt every year. This communal effort by all the local communities of the region unite to recreate this ancient bridge that has been the backdrop of their communities for centuries.
