- Tell me about a hidden spot in Peru that you love, that most tourists wouldn't know about!
Perolniyoq waterfalls are located 40 km north of Cusco near the town of Ollantaytambo. The beginning of the trek is in Socma, a small village of 800 inhabitants, found at an altitude of 3100m. Ñaupa iglesia is next to Pachar train station and both of these magical places can be combined in one day.
- What do you love most about Peru?
Cusco city and Machu Picchu.
- If there's one essential phrase that any traveler should know when visiting your country, what should it be?
A place where history is alive such as the city of Cusco.
- What's the best local beer/wine/spirit, & dish, that new visitors to your country should try?
Cusqueña beer, pisco sour, ceviche, our national drinks and dishes.
- What's the best memory you have as a tour guide?
My best memory is when I had my first group and the passengers ended up being so happy and from then on, I love to guide in Peru.
- What are you most looking forward to once travel opens back up?
Start working once more and do what I enjoy, which is to guide. I like to make our passengers feel at home when they are in Peru.
