Tell me about a hidden spot in Peru that you love, that most tourists wouldn't know about!
PALCCOYO MOUNTAIN- Not yet on the tourist radar, palccoyo offers up striking views of 3 distinct rainbow-colored mountains. A region similar to the popular “rainbow mountain” but much less visited. The mountains in this region are not as dramatic but you will find solicitude here. Located 3 hours from Cusco in the town of Palccoyo.
What do you love most about Peru?
Everything! food, culture, scenery, people etc.
If there's one essential phrase that any traveler should know when visiting your country, what should it be?
“Enjoy the little things”
What's the best local beer/wine/spirit, & dish, that new visitors to your country should try?
Cusqueña beer of course, Charsago- Moscatel wine, Ceviche, Lomo saltado, Aji de gallina and Pisco Sour.
What's the best memory you have as a tour guide?
The faces of my passengers when we finish any tour.
What are you most looking forward to once travel opens back up?
I just hope, that every day is better after the pandemic situation, which has severly affected local communities and the people who work in the tourism industry
