This full-day tour will take you along a section of what is often referred to as the “Moche Route,” visiting two fascinating archaeological sites -- Huaca Rajada and El Brujo -- connected to the Moche civilization, which flourished in Northern Peru from about 100 to 700 AD. We’ll also visit two of the best museums in the north, to learn more about the Moche culture and other civilizations of Peru.
Our tour begins in the coastal city of Chiclayo from where we first drive to Huaca Rajada, an archaeological complex located in the town of Sipán.
