The latest travel update relating to COVID-19 travel restrictions for Peru is now available. Before considering your need to travel, please understand the rules and restrictions in place that may impact your journey, and make sure to check back here at Passion Passport regularly for further updates. As it currently stands, regions of Peru that are designated as having a High Alert level have the following conditions:

Outdoor events, open-air sporting activities, zoos, botanical gardens, outdoor restaurants and outdoor theatre are all allowed, however, large public gatherings including carnivals and traditional festivals, are not allowed.
In public, the use of a double-mask is mandated in public places that tend to be crowded, such as supermarkets and pharmacies, and the Government of Peru recommends using a face shield.
Peruvians and resident foreigners who have been in South Africa must quarantine at home for a period of 14 days upon re-entry.
As per September 6th, fully vaccinated passengers are exempt from having a negative COVID-19 test result.
