The provinces of Chanchamayo, Chincha, and Sullana have been issued with a High Alert level. What this means is that:
Outside of these areas, a Moderate Alert level has been applied to the rest of Peru, with the main difference being that the curfew is from 2am until 4am, and additional 10% capacity limits provided on top of those listed above according to the stipulated categories.
What must be reminded is that the use of masks in public is mandatory, with the Government of Peru strongly encouraging the use of a double mask for extra safety.
Until November 14, entrants of non-resident foreigners or those locals who have stopped over in South Africa, is suspended. For everyone else, you must be double-vaccinated to enter Peru if you are over the age of 12. Furthermore, proof must be provided upon entry.
